Headteacher's Welcome
Located just off Droitwich Road, we serve families from Perdiswell, Northwick, Claines, Fernhill Heath and the wider Worcester area. From our preschool through to Year 6, children benefit from modern facilities, inspiring learning environments and a strong sense of community. Built on a genuine partnership with families, our inclusive school ensures every child feels safe, valued and supported to achieve their very best.
Welcome to North Worcester Preschool
North Worcester Preschool provides a wonderful start to learning for children aged 3 to 4 years. Open year-round, closing only for two weeks at Christmas, we offer two spacious learning rooms, two large outdoor playgrounds and a forest school, giving children a wide range of opportunities to learn, play and explore.

🍂🍁 What a wonderful morning at Forest School 🍁🍂 We loved getting out into nature and embracing all things autumn. The children enjoyed creating beautiful autumn leaf crowns, making clay hedgehogs, preparing their own autumn soup and exploring colours through painting 🦔🎨🍁 We finished our lovely session snuggled up with the story 'The leaf Thief', followed by a warming hot chocolate and a biscuit. So many wonderful opportunities to explore, create, imagine and learn in the outdoors! 🍃 🍁
💗 Breast Cancer Awareness Day 💗 Today, some of our wonderful Year 4 pupils had the privilege of visiting Belmont Care Home to share kindness, smiles and positive affirmation messages with residents in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Day. The children shared thoughtful messages of encouragement and hope, spreading positivity and reminding everyone of the power of kind words. It was heartwarming to see the conversations, smiles and connections made across generations. We are so proud of our Year 4 children for representing our school with such compassion, confidence and care. Thank you to the residents and staff at Belmont Care Home for making us feel so welcome. Together, we celebrated resilience, community and the importance of supporting one another. 💕🌸 #thebelmont_worcester
BREAKING! Paddington bear has been spotted at North Worcester Primary Academy! After year 2 had successfully cracked the 4-digit code to unlock his suitcase by solving a series of mathematical problems, an anonymous image was sent through to the school. We will investigate this over the half-term and get back to you all as soon as possible. Is this a one off? Or is there more to this mystery?! Stay tuned...
Year 4 have had an amazing time in Forest School today to end an incredible half term of hard work. We are so proud of the progress both classes have made. Today, we were inspired by Andy Goldworthy to create some beautiful pieces of artwork using nature. Happy Half Term!
Today, 6C completed their first novel of the year - the fantastic 'Rooftoppers' by @katherine.rundell. We were gripped from chapter 1 and have loved studying the book in our reading lessons. As we read the last few chapters this week, there were gasps and you could hear a pin drop as the final words were spoken! We are excited to discover what our next book will be!
Years 3 and 4 took part in a hockey skills festival this week. They showed excellent sportsmanship and had a fantastic time!
🚶🚲 Celebrating Active Travel in Worcester! 🚲🚶 On Tuesday, pupils and staff from North Worcester Primary Academy were delighted to attend a special event with the Mayor of Worcester, celebrating the achievements of schools across the city in encouraging active travel. The event recognised the fantastic efforts of schools, staff, pupils and families in promoting walking, cycling, scooting and other sustainable ways of travelling to school. We are incredibly proud of our pupils for embracing healthy, environmentally friendly travel habits and for representing our school so positively. A special thank you to Mandy Neil and Kate Collier for their ongoing support and encouragement in helping us promote active travel within our school community. Your guidance and enthusiasm have played an important part in our journey. Together, we are helping children stay active, build independence and make a positive difference to our environment. 🌍💚
What a wonderful end to Reception's first half term! The children had great fun making and then enjoying their very own bread hedgehogs and tasty pumpkin soup. We are so proud of all they have achieved during their first weeks at school. On Friday, some year 5 children competed in a handball tournament. We are extremely proud of every child, all of whom showed great skill and sportsmanship. 🏆Well done to the boys' team for coming first place overall. 🥇🏅Well done to two of our year 5 children who got a special medal for overall kindness and sportsman ship for the whole event. Well done, year 5!
We held a very special assembly this week to announce our new junior leaders! We are proud to introduce our Head Boy and Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl, and prefects. They all delivered speeches which highlighted their confidence, compassion and positivity. We know they will be great role models and congratulate them on their new roles. We would also like to say a big well done to everyone who applied - we were so impressed with all your efforts.
For parents and carers of children in our pre-school, we have a free Halloween Stay and Play event on Thursday 29th October, 9am - 10am. No need to sign up, just turn up on the day. Enjoy!

3C have had fun exploring ways we can help our mental health. We have had fun drawing, colouring, reading and following detailed instructions!
Meet some of our new playleaders! Children from Years 5 and 6 volunteered to be trained as playleaders - people who can facilitate games and activities for younger children during break and lunch times. Their training supported them in developing their communication, organisation and problem solving skills, whilst making sure the main aim was FUN!
It was lovely to see a sprinkling of sunshine yellow across the school today as we celebrated World Mental Health Day! We saw lots of calm, happy children enjoying activities that promoted positive mental health and wellbeing.🥰
